Are these car games free, and do they need a download?
All four are free and run in the browser on a phone, tablet or computer. There is nothing to install and no account to make, and each game keeps working offline once its page has loaded.
How do the leaderboards work?
Every game has a weekly board and an all-time board, and each keeps a player’s best score. The weekly board starts again every Monday at 00:00 UTC. A finished run is posted with the name you choose and nothing else about you.
Which game works best on a phone?
All four work by touch. Night Run goes full screen when you press Play: drag anywhere on the road to steer, and tap the on-screen nitro and brake pedals. The Reaction Time Test and Drag Race are a tap to launch, and in Tune It you drag the fuel bars with a finger.
What is a good drag race reaction time?
Under 0.300 s off the green is solid for a casual player and under 0.200 s is quick. Human reaction to a light bottoms out at around 0.15 s, so a time well below that usually means you anticipated the green rather than reacted to it. The Reaction Time Test measures the gap between green and your input.
Are the games realistic?
They are simplified, but each is built on a real trade-off. Tune It rewards the mixture that makes best power and punishes going lean under load. Drag Race works out traction, power and drag from your car’s power, weight and drivetrain. Night Run is an arcade game, but every garage upgrade links to the calculator that sizes the real part.
